Setting Up InnerPeace Computers
The first part of these instructions assume you are setting up a computer dedicated as an InnerPeace computer.
If the computer is already set up and InnerPeace is being added, such as on a public computer in a library,

Setting Up the Computer
Windows 3.1 and Netscape 3 are all you need. There are lots of licenced copies not being used and are easy to get donated. On a 386, this is the only workable solution.
On a 486 or above, there are more options. We prefer the GNU/Linux system, but if you only have windows available, use what is donated and what you know how to work with.
Delete all the other programs and all info from the disks. Delete everything from the start menus. Hide any task bars.
Set the browser to start up with booting up.
Setting Up the Browser
Hide the toolbars and address bar. Keep the status bar at the bottom. Delete all bookmarks and favorites.
Open the window to as large as it can comfortably go.
Setting Up InnerPeace
Edit the file ip.htm. In the variable declaration section, set the settings to:
rows0=17
rows1=4
If you are setting the program up in a place where the spiritual quotes are an issue, set:
ps[0]=0
sm[0]=0
This will change the default on them to off.
Setting Up InnerPeace on a Public Computer
Test InnerPeace on the browsers used. If the rows0, rows1, and colsw settings need adjusting, edit the file.
Put a an InnerPeace shortcut icon on the desktop. Name it InnerPeace.
Make InnerPeace a bookmark or favorite.
If you are setting the program up in a place where the spiritual quotes are an issue, set:
ps[0]=0
sm[0]=0
This will change the default on them to off.
